Eggs directly out from the fridge and immersing in boiling hot water will definitely crack due to sudden change in temperature.<BR/>Place eggs in cold water in a single layer, water level above eggs about an inch or two. Bring to a rapid boil.<BR/>If you want to centralise the egg yolk, move the pan gently during the cooking process so the egg yolk remains at center.
